While driving down Fehling road between its terminus at Nameoki and Johnson Roads and its origin at the terminus of Benton Street --- I was pleasantly surprised to see the banners honoring many of the Veterans of Granite City.....it appeared as if they were the ones killed in action, as would be befitting for Memorial Day.
Either way --- I was happy to see their pictures and names adorn Fehling Road.... I would say 'nice touch' but that is such an understatement.
