My mom had a problem with them making nests in her clothes line poles. I use to spray them and almost got bit several times. I decided to go to the Dollar Tree and purchase the metal Brillo pads for pots and pans. I stuffed one in each of her clothes line pole holes and haven't had anymore problems. They have rusted since I put them in several years ago, but they are still working.
