To this point the Cardinals have shown an ability to beat up on the bad teams, something they were not that efficient at in recent years. A winning team clobbers the bad teams and breaks even with the others for the most part.The offense has been a little erratic and the starting pitching pretty average. Matt Carpenter has been very unproductive, and his defense has always been less than stellar. Ill stick with what i said before the season started, this team wont win the division, but they should be right in the middle of the Wild Card race. With the Brewers losing Thames for 2 months, that for the time being will help the other teams hoping to be a Wild Card Playoff team. Before its all said and done it may come down to how much Alex Reyes can contribute.
