Tommy Pham said the other day that no Cubs player better approach him after saying they wanted to celebrate the division in St. Louis. Ok,i thought, now we have career minor leaguers popping off after they play one full season in the bigs. Then after last nights game in his most bad ass voice Pham claims he knows he was being thrown at when he was hit during the game. Really, like the Cubs are singling out this one year wonder on a third place team for exactly what reason again? The Cardinals dusted 3 Pirates and hit 2 in a recent series and none of those guys said a damn word, but Ken Griffey Pham knows he was being thrown at?
On the Blues front with Fabbri again being done for the year i dont see this team as currently structured to be a serious contender. They may win a lot of games, but they dont have the horses to go far in the playoffs. I think they have a lot of good players a year or two away, but that wont help this season. Id like to see Kostin or at least Blaies make the team but the second line looks pretty weak to me minus Fabbri.
