I just made a one hundred dollar donation to the American Red Cross who is currently providing food, shelter and other services that are so desperately needed for the many people who have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey.
I want to challenge all my fellow elected officials to do the same. It is imperative that we fully support our many fellow Americans who have been devastated by this catastrophic weather event.
May God bless all the victims and all the first responders and volunteers.
