Thanks all, just got done with the Gang cleaning up some "debris" from last night. WOW, WHAT A NIGHT! No issues, police were awesome, the crowd was fantastic. The mayor drove the band over to the airport this morning. Some of the members thanked the Mayor for a great venue, said "you need to teach the other cities how to do a concert" they loved the crowd.
Crowd was estimated over 12,000.. we had some discussion already on minor improvements to the weekend, all in all, this festival was the best, so proud of this little community of 5800 people. Our police, the venders, the new carnival, the long lake Vfd, the group that helped with parking, the baseball team that came in and cleaned up litter in the park. Just everyone did an awesome job.
I feel this Friday night was the largest crowd so far (for Friday's) the balloon glow was a hit. Looking to add a corvette show on Saturday next year. Thanks for those that came out, we appreciate the support.
Lastly, we will be having acoustic music in the park, in a couple weeks on Thursday, 6:30-9:30
Octoberfest, new this year, coming up. Still planning, small carnival, a couple venders, hoping for a pumpkin carving station, 1 band... smaller, mellow. Please come out, will post more details as we have them
