Im not sure ive ever hated a state because a team from that state swept the Orioles because by now i would be hating a lot of states. This current Cardinal team is simply not very good, but neither is anyone else in the division. They greatly over paid a catcher now on the down side of his career and for too long of term. Nostalgia is nice, but the GMs job is to build a winning team, and having a fine young catcher tearing it up in AAA and stuck is not a great way to build. Fowler was an ok add but they should have traded for Ozuna who was available. He is younger, a better fielder and has more upside than Dexter. But hey, i dont care if they ever win another game, so im good with the team getting older.
