Sang to the tune of "The Ballad of Jed Clampett"

Let me tell you all a story about a stinky township,
where they didn't like the clerk so they tried to break her hip.
She took it like a champ, cause she knew they'd soon be gone,
so they threatened poor Mel Moore all around the township lawn.

With dirty words that is, cussin'd bad, exposed as thieves.

Well the next thing you know old nosy Nick came back around,
who needs more reports to be passed around our town?
He insists that Tammy's single and she still lives up the road,
with her mama and her daddy, that shriveled up old toad.

Bill that is, township blowhard, dried up has been.

The old commish is out and the new one's coming in,
will he run the road crew like Ed O'Brian's kin?
Two hour lunches, never working in the rain,
workman's comp suits right and left because of belly pain.

Beer farts that is, hang over headaches, allergic to trash.

Presswood's the new sheriff, how thorough will he be,
when looking at those checks for cash that people want to see
Will he put his food down and call the state police,
or will he turn a blind eye to the fact we've all been fleeced?

Waiting to see, do the right thing, unlike Viessman.

Well this is just a smidgen of what's been going down,
will the trustees be diligent or just a bunch of clowns?
I'm hoping that the new top dog will do a better job,
I was almost done here until I heard about Frank Laub!

MESD that is, Kurt canned their asses, see ya Kenny.

That's another story to be told another day,
it looks like old Bob Shipley has been sent about his way.
The Horseradish King & Pennekamp have both been shit canned too,
maybe, just maybe, they will both get what they are due.

Well now it's time to say good bye to Randy and his friends, I'd like to thank you all for kindly stopping in.

Y'all comeback again next week to this locality and have a heapin' helping of the sad reality...of local politics that is, nepotism, dishonesty.
