I think the way this was handled was wrong. I fired many people in my career and I always did it face to face. This was unprofessional of Trump.

That being said, Comey was an appointed official and should stayed out of the political game. Last summer during the e-mail hearings the GOP thought he was in Clinton's pocket along with the attorney general. In October, when he made his announcement, the GOP praised him and of course Hillary blamed him for her loss along with the Russians, the deplorables, the Bernie followers and everyone but her mailman.

The previous President should have fired Comey and began the Russian hearings immediately. He had three months but no one is questioning that.

I believe these hearings will be fruitless. There will be no collusion proven between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Even the black congress woman who hates Trump has said she has received no evidence of collusion. By the way, any hacking came during Obama's term in office so he should be investigated as well.

I think Trump is losing ground because he keeps opening Pandora boxes. "The deputy AG gave me a letter of recommendation". Uh, no he didn't. You dictated some ideas and he didn't have a chance to formulate them before you acted. "Comey said I was not being investigated". No, that's not what he said according to him.

Why does he keep putting his foot in his mouth? Let the FBI conduct an investigation. Focus on healthcare, the economy and our nation's security and stop playing stupid games. The liberals are baiting you Mr. President to keep you from doing what you were elected to do. Stop taking the bait.
