Definitely a group that's on the bubble. $75 k is probably a good enough salary to cover a good quality of life, nice cars, home, etc...
However, throw in one major medical problem or one or two kids in college and savings accounts can shrink.
We were blessed to have a good income over the years. We were healthy and only had to help our children with part of their college careers because they were both scholarship recipients.
Our investments paid well and are doing nicely in retirement but even at our age, a major hit in the aforementioned areas would change our lifestyle to a degree.
I sincerely hope that Trump gets things moving in the economy (and keeps us out of wars). I don't care who gets the credit for righting the ship. I only want to see more people back to work with good wages and some kind of assistance to their insurance.
