For us who have thought of moving up the hill, or away, we might have waited too long. I have a good friend who has one of the nicest houses in granite. They had 2 open houses, not any action at all. But, they are asking 200 for the house. When I bought my house by the park 12 years ago, I had a couple stop me in the yard an say to me, " we be preapproved for 300 thousand for your house". I ran in and told the wife, were the hell outta here, but as usual, they are two kinds of husbands in the world. Henpecked ones, and liars. im a liar. But, im reminded of my uncle who stay too long in east st louis until he just laid the keys on the counter, called the bank and told them the same thing the prostitute told her new husband on her wedding nite. Its worn and torn, but its all yorn.
