    They have some nice young players, mainly Diaz and a couple pitchers, but this team is not year as young as even the Cubs. Molina and Peralta are both on the wrong side of thirty, and so is Holliday, the main reason he was allowed to walk. Fowler and Carpenter arent kids any more either.
    Wong has to somehow have a productive year,and if Gyrko does anything even remotely close to what he did last season, he can move to third if Peralta falters.
    In no way shape or form is his team a for sure playoff team, but they have enough to be in the mix. They have a nice young outfielder in AAA, who may need to be called up before its all over, and if he plays well, that wouldnt hurt.
