I wasn't referring to you. The shoe I designed wasn't meant to fit you, but I'm sorry if it's similar in size in any way.
Talking about Controversial issues was never the issue.
There's a difference between a member of a posting community and a troll.
A regular person will be there and engage in a variety of issues and will even show a degree of care for the other people..... May disagree on some things and agree on others. When one storm blows over, other topics take their place.
A TROLL on the other hand is usually one dimensional and comes out only for a specific purpose with a specific agenda. Most leave when their ends have been met....although some have stayed over periods of time, but their trains are only capable of running on one track...
Thus, about a day or two - a natural cooperation formed between Opie and me... to infuse some other types of conversation --- if for no other reason, than to just give people other things to talk about.
It is a shining example of bipartisanship between left and wrong to unite the best of what we believe to take a stand for decency.
We have met many roadblocks in this endeavor and from the unlikeliest of sources -- but we still continue our heroic, albeit Quixotic quest for decency in this great smoky land.
