The state paid for the theater? LOL, you should educate yourself before making Art look stupid. The theater was paid for through a TIF. It had nothing to do with the state.
Term limits and career politicians? How many terms has Art had on the county board? Now he wants to continue the "career" as mayor.
You see, what you're doing is crucifying Art with the very nails you want to use on Ed. You would be much better served if you would just post a solid plan of action about what Art wants to do and how he will fund it.
For example, you say he wants to cut fat at City Hall. Who does he cut? What offices are not necessary? Is this just lip service? What's the plan?
Does he have a business plan for Route 3? What major developer has he contacted? Is there a revenue stream besides the TIF? Are county funds available for development? If so, why hasn't he helped GC as a county board member to obtain these funds? That would be part of his responsibility as a representative of the people.
Please stop with the bashing and put out a good plan. I'll be waiting.
