What the hell is this? Talk about over-kill, you can view this thing from space! This sign and attachment had to cost over $1000.00. I didn't even see the thing until I looked up because a helicopter was flying over. A point in the direction of that office would be fine by me.
Another thing, how much does those post cards cost that the assessor sends out to everyone that goes in there? $300 - $400 each year? It would save me money if they just said, thank you for allowing us to serve you, we are here if you need us again, as I walked out the door.
Is this sign allowed to remain up at a polling station while voters go in and out? It looks like a campaign sign.
I believe taxpayer dollars was wasted paying for this sign. The Township Board squandered our money approving this cost and I am voting for Kelso Staley and Elaine Beckland.
