God? Which God? The popular one that so many claim to follow...but don't? The one that said "Sell all you have, give it to the poor and follow me"..."Whatsoever ye do to the least of my brothers and sisters, so ye have done unto me"..."Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"..."Go to your room, close the door and pray to God in private. Do not pray in public or in groups, as that's what hypocrites do"?
Hey, I'm all for following those principles. Trouble is, no one else seems to, which makes it almost impossible for an individual to do so in today's terms. And worst of all, most that claim to follow that God make liars out of themselves...and him (her, it, whatever)...without even realizing it. The God they claim to worship isn't a God at all, but instead is worship of a lifestyle of materialism, selfishness, vanity and intolerance.
So Opie, I gotta ask...specifically, which God do you pick to bless the new administration?
