Sad to hear that more will lose their jobs. I know in the last few years K-Mart/Sears has closed many stores. Wal Mart has been given so many TIF properties that allowed their pricing to stay lower than other retailers. This is the result but it's a part of business.
I hope the employees find work elsewhere. I remember when K Mart first opened. It was quite the store at that time including the little eating area and a pretty nice sporting goods department. Bought several ball gloves and golf balls there over the years.
