This Saturday marks the twentieth anniversary of the "Santa's Holiday Avenue Parade". This event has become the official kick off of the holiday season for Granite City and is always so much fun.
Mrs. Judy Whitaker is looking for volunteers to walk in this year's event, dressed in costume (provided by Mrs. Whitaker) on Saturday.
There is an array of characters available.
If you would like to participate in this Granite City tradition, please contact Mrs. Whitaker, Granite City Clerk at 452-6200 as soon as possible to make arrangements to pick up your costume.
