So good that you brought that up and I will never fully appreciate what our service men and women had to endure to protect us here at home and the needs of others abroad.
You're right, many people went in for the first time and made us proud!
But what happened when Trump had his chance to do so?
Here was this super athlete in high school...played basketball, football, squash (whatever that is) but suddenly had bad feet (heel spurs) when it was time to serve. Suddenly he promises that he is the HEALTHIEST candidate ever for president.
Surprising when his health is good and when it is not quite up to the task.
So you can supplant the pilots analogy to that of soldiers --- matter of fact you really are on to something!
Because there were people who went in for the first time and made us proud!!! Donald Trump was not one of them; he was too cowardly to do so!
