I am so finished with these idiotic people, calling my house. I have maxed out my call block numbers on my phone. Besides unless you can block a hundred different numbers, you're just treading water.
I have actually had my own name come up in caller I.D., Madison County Sheriff's Department's number, area codes from Arizona, Massachusetts, and the list goes on.
It is literally inconceivable how billions of dollars has been spent in order for people to be elected into whatever office they are running for.
It is testament to just how financially lucrative being a public official can be. Full time salaries for part time performance, a chance to spin the pension wheel multiple times, inside pull to ensure everyone in your family empire is taken care of employment wise, a pass go card for being able to lie and manufacture stories in order to win.
These power drunk pigs, from local, township, state and federal levels make me want to puke. No longer are they able to operate under the rules of yesteryear where a person's only chance of knowing what's going on laid solely on your local newspaper, if the borderline corrupt crap they did ever made the newspaper. But even with the internet and twenty four hour a day access to reports, records, articles, basically anything you want to know, people for the most part just don't give a crap.
I'm too old to fight the fight physically, but I'll gripe and scream until they carry me out feet first. People need to wake up.
A prime example, this Parkinson kid who is running for county board. Unless he's grown up A LOT, and had some major epiphany in his attitude, he has no place on the county board. We have enough ego and abuse of power sitting up there already.
