There has been a lot of tragic events happen in our country recently,very sad when people are killing the very few people who are there to protect us. Us in Granite City have been somewhat insulated so far. (watch that part).I feel that we are reaping the sad crops that have been sown many years ago. It has taken a long time to grow, but the crop is up for sure. People today have absolutely no empathy or compassion for our neighbors,and townspeople.It is so sad, our good jobs have left this country for china, we have so much thirst for so much that I feel we could do without, and I feel its gonna get worse real quick. Young families today dont know the difference between needs and wants, new cars, all the kids have cell phones,cable bills up to 400 a month, and the young parents working 2 or more jobs each, at low wages, and the kids are raising themselves. Poverty levels at are an all time high, even higher for blacks, and the kids are grown up now, and angry at the state of our economy. In my humble opinion, thats the biggest reason our country is in turmoil, and unless something is done about it, its gonna get even worse. Thank god im not my grandsons age. ok, nap time. What is everyone elses views on this sore subject?
