They went out of business due to restrictions placed on them by the city. Because they were only allowed to pay by check, business dried up. Most if not all of the recycling places in surrounding communities pay cash. I don't know why our aldermen did not take that into consideration. I knew a couple of the young men who worked there had families and now they are out of work.
