Think of all the interest that is being earned by the state by not releasing funds due to the budget fiasco.
A quarter of a billion, if not more by now, is owed out in lottery payments.
Now the Motor Fuel Tax funds.
I wonder how much interest is earned every day that a budget isn't passed?
And these are only two examples. I bet we can't comprehend how much they are racking up. Probably more is earned in interest than Rauner is trying to cut from the budget.
Don't you just love Illinois?
