I agree. People should be respectful regardless of where they are when it's played. I was at one of my child's track meets last year, (it was a home meet) and when the national anthem was played, my daughter was the only student to stop, put her hand on her heart, and face the flag! I was quite proud that she paid her respects to everyone that fought to give her the ability to salute the flag, and astounded that none of the other students did at the same time!
