I stand corrected. According to Gallup they base their samples on a population of 187 million Adults in the continental US - guess the 318 million includes those under 18.
It also made more sense to me after reading that Republicans were much more likely to feel threatened vs. Democrats and during the Bush administration it was the opposite.
I guess I interact with many more Ds than Rs because the only person I know that has told me they feel an immediate threat from our government is my one crazy Uncle on my Mom's side.
