The year was 1925 when a young man named Arthur came to America to find The American Dream. With little education, he found work in the coal mines but soon realized that steel was the place for him.

He then began working in steel in the Detroit, Michigan Automobile Center of the Nation, first as a messenger and worked his way up the ladder as a foreman

After many years of hard work, plus buying stock (owned corporate stock), he became Vice President of the company. Not bad for a smart, self educated man.

He often recited these words to all of his children and co-workers. These words are from a poet named Goethe:

'Lose this day loitering twill be the same story tomorrow and the next day. What you can do, or think you can do, do it. Boldness has magic, power and genius in it.'

The man - Arthur - was my father.

    Sincerely,
