    good article, I started at the mill back in 69, pay was $2.48 an hour or so. Worked 39 days, quit, went to gm in st louis, hired at once. Pay was a little higher. Back then not too many wanted to work at the mill. I knew I didnt. Its a shame, what has happened to our industry of all types in this country. Dan is a friend of mine, I put in a new a/c and furnace for him, and a system for his assistance, Randy Virgin. Both extremly nice people. They do a great job for the men at the mill. We need to demand our politicians get our industry back in this country asap. We need to get people off welfare, disability, and make them go to work. Then and only then, will our ecomony thrive like it did back years ago.
