Its really too late for most, young people dont respect older people, because adults dont expect much out of their children. Yes, I know there are exceptions. A lot of parents desire to be the "best friends", of their childrens. This really cracks me up, the kids have got to be laughing their butts off at that. One of my customers, who is black, and lives in east st louis has 2 black sons. One is a lawyer, the other is an accountant. I asked him what his secret was, to achieve such success with his sons in the face of such adversity. His response shocked me in one way, not so much in another. He said "im not their friend, im the father", and I have kicked their butts a lot. Later, they thanked me. Folks, there is a lesson to be learned here. Im in thousands of homes with my job. The things i see is disturbing. You want to talk about entittlements?, lol, look at young people today. The disrespect is astounding, and yet we keep giving them more and more. What is your budget this year for christmas? gonna open up another charge card to give more to them? Try giving them guidance, love, and disiplane. the results might just surprise you.
