Hey, 2 you, did you participate in WW2, and if you did, did you get a blue-colored hardbound book titled, "The History of World War 2", that was written by several authors and was given to every serviceman/women who fought for our country at that time? My Father was in North Africa and Italy, but I don't recall that book being around my parent's house, and my older brother can't either. I came across one copy-its unsigned-at a used bookstore and bought it. It has one mistake in it, a picture of Ernie Pyle on Okinawa, as a caption goes. Pyle never made it to Okinawa, he got killed on Iwo Jima 6 days after FDR passed away. Just wondering, could you give me a fact or two re this book?
