To all of the politicians who mailed or left trash literature on my front door this season. Your literature was used to stoke the fire in my fire pit last night as we awaited trick or treat children. I felt is was the best use of the material. Had you used a softer more pliable and softer stock of paper I could have found one more use suitable of such nonsense.
I would love to say may the best man win Tuesday but in so many races there are no best men, only fools with their personal agendas.
Instead I will say good luck to the people of the state of Illinois and the county of Madison. With the choices before us we have no chance in the next few years of turning things around.
