Hey, think about it.
What a boon for the drug company who is developing the experimental drug that cures or prevents it!
Not that much interest in a virus that kills off the population of an underdeveloped country...but man, oh man, what a pay off here in the states if the medication is developed and approved!
And if marketed, the price will be exuberant...an added benefit - thinning of the poor herd.
