Yes I have known about this service that the city provides for a number of years now. Even though I knew about it I thought that I would never need this service. Until 2 or 3 summers ago the hail hit the area and took its toll on the ol roof. I was going to do the roof with the help of the family and thought about pricing out dumpsters which were in the $300 range. Then a city worker brought it to my attention that this service was available to call the public works department and schedule one and even told me a particular truck # to ask for because it was the biggest truck. So when the truck was available that is when I was going to schedule the roof work to be done. They refused my request and I even tried to contact mayor hagnaur personally. His secretary eventually contacted the mayor at my request about the situation. I was honest about the material that I was going to be putting into the truck when she eventually asked that question. No No No they were not doing this program for the people in need with there roof situations PERIOD. Yep, just another case where if you aren't one of the good ol'boys the city will turn you down in your time of need. Bye the way the city worker I referenced just shook his head when I told him what went down!
