On Sunday afternoon, 2 dogs jumped my aunt's fence on Pine Street, followed her chihauhaus in her home through her doggy door and attacked all 3, killing them. The attacking dogs are described as 2 pit bull or pit mixes dogs, 1 is brown with some white, the other is mostly white with black or dark brown around the eyes. If you have any information on the these animals, please contact me! We have several leads and are following them. Police were looking for 2 pit bulls on Saturday as well.
Since posting the story on facebook, many neighbors have come forward with tales of attacks on their pets from animals matching this description. So far 11 pets have been killed and several more injured. I also have an account of one dog that matches this description biting a child.
Please watch your small pets carefully until these dangerous dogs can be found. If you have pets - PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM RUN LOOSE!!! Even if they are friendly at home, they may become dangerous when running the streets with other dogs when they form a pack.
If you see 2 dogs running, please call 911 immediately!!!

Please don't turn this into a pittie bash session. I love my pit bull dearly and he is not aggressive. Any dogs running wild can become dangerous.
