I don't see how it's stupid, If you serve on a jury and find the defendant killed someone, or some other awful thing, return guilty. On the other hand, if you are on a jury hearing about a guy with a car that can safely travel at 70 miles an hours under the conditions he was facing when cited, return not guilty. To go on, guy rapes child, return guilty. Guy gets caught with weed, not guilty. Stop letting the legal system punish people for things that should not be against the law in the first place.
