Why is it that GC cant salt any of the side streets? The weather was not so bad yesterday that they would have to keep treating and plowing the main streets to keep them clear. The side streets are sheet of ice. What little may have melted yesterday when cars were on them refroze quickly last night. I called the street department yesterday morning and they assured me that they were going to treat the side streets. Bet the only ones that got treated were the ones where the mayor, alderman and the street department folk live.
