I won't answer to Headcase but I'll state it for the rest of you who might be interested in my response. Yes, my kid get WIC and med benefits for my grandson, This is temporary. Both are working (but are limited to 29 hours a week thanks to Obamacare), both are working towards college degrees. Both will pay many more dollars into the system than than they are draining out now. Nobody in my house gets food stamps... I pay for all of the food we eat and Ginger provides all of the daycare. I have never had a problem with someone needing temporary assistance my problem has always been with career welfare queens. My daughter is married and both of their incomes count when their assistance is calculated (they would get more if they just shacked up and only hers was applied). I've been paying into the system since I was 13 years old and have never taken a dime in assistance so, yeah I don't have a big problem with them getting some temporary help..... after all I paid for it many times over, I just wish they didn't have to face so many challenges that make it harder on them courtesy of the federal government and it's overreach.
