I served with many Phillipinos, and there were many Phillipinos that worked as TCNs (Third Country Nationals) on base. They embraced me and made me one of their own. Even was made an "honorary Phillipino".
My heart is with these people, and I wish there was more that I could do. I hope you find it in yours to do what you can to help these people attempt to get back on their feet and walking again.
