Thanks, everyone for the congrats! We are VERY happy and the house is coming along nicely.
We have been working on it for almost two weeks now.... We had to do a lot before we could move in. My aunt and I painted about 1500 sq ft of house. WHEW... can we say tiring? Then we had to have new carpet put in, wait on our new appliances and get our new living room furniture there... it's been a process.
We are so happy to not be in renter status anymore, you guys have no idea. We are almost done finishing up the apartment and turn in the keys... It's nice being your own landlord. Sigh.
I am looking forward to becoming more involved with the city and it's issues. After all, I am a real tax paying citizen now, baby. LOL
