I agree Bob, there can only be so many "Historical Granite City" Face book pages and web sites and after a while it just turns into the same ole same ole.
All of them that I have looked at seem to be knock offs of Granite City Gossip. There is a "Historical Granite City" section on the homepage of this site with pages and pages of old pictures.
There is a "You Have The Floor" section on the homepage that allows anyone to submit their own story or article.
There is a "School Days" button at the top of the page that leads you to old school class room photos. Granite City Gossip keeps growing and growing, there is so much to see on this web site!
