Hi ladies, My uncle Edward Maylath, was Andy Phillip's uncle. His mom was my uncles sister, Betty Phillip and her husband John Phillip. I believe they lived on Maple St in Lincoln Place. My family and my aunt Dorothy Maylath, would spend many wonderful meals cooked by Betty Phillip!!!!! I want to buy the book "Men of Granite" . I hope and pray they do film it in Granite City, most appropriate. Donald Maylath, another cousin went and graduated from Granite City High School in 1951 or 1952 if I am not mistaken. When Andy moved to California to play basketball and married an Ice Capdes skater, we saw them often. Had a wonderful time with them and their family.
