I grew up knowing Terry. As a little kid in grade school I would have to walk past the confectionery every day to get to school. I was terrified of this guy. I remember standing back looking at him sitting outside on the front step and me halted dead in my tracks frozen in fear. Back then, he was the terror of the neighborhood and all of us younger kids new to beware. He eventually would feel guilty enough to wave me on and grant me permission to pass the store and get to school on time. Eventually I learned it was much easier to walk all the way around the block in the other direction and avoid the situation all together. It took me awhile to figure that one out, guess I wasn't to bright in the fourth grade, haha!
