I've heard 2 stories myself, first is that they lost their liquor license, second is that the previous owners of the building was behind on taxes and they expected the new owners of it (the owner of Fatty Patty's) to pay those back taxes and that he did not and therefor got shut down. So not really sure what took place, but it seems like any bar opening there is prone to failure and bound to close.
