So happy you all are safe, and glad you are having the nicest summer ever!!! That is great. I remember as a child going to the Monk's Mounds, with family and a big fried chicken lunch in a basket......my 3 cousins and I would roll down the mounds. Most fun, laughter, an a great outing with family. For some reason a picnic isn't a picnic without friend chicken.!!!. Of course patotoe salad, counted tell you if it was refrigerated or not. ha ha However, we never got sick. I visited the museum, lecture, and the book store when I was back there many years ago. Can hardly wait for another change to return to my 'ROOTS Granite City, IL....
