    I too know it as Parkview School. It's not that I don't appreciate the nostalgic value of any old building. It's simply that when things fall in disrepair it's often better to bring it up to date.I especially believe that's true with buildings like schools. It's important that children have a nice modern place to be in.

    Historic buildings such as our city hall, the original post office, and some of the old downtown stores are a bit different. These buildings had such an architecutal value. Tearing them down may be the only fiscally responsible answer but it's sad to see them torn down.
