Yes, Joanne, I agree. Back then people would not have dreamed of wearing a pair of their pajamas into a public area!
People made their children behave, they weren't allowed to butt into adult conversation, nor did parents expect them to receive the same considerations as a full grown adult.
Everything seemed to be an event, from visiting someone in the hospital to going out for dinner.
It's a flip flop, filthy mouthed, disrespectful world we are living in these days.
Nothing, and I MEAN NOTHING, seems to be sacred. There is no longer discretion, nor modesty, courtesy or consideration. It's a "I'll step on anyone's throat to get what I want, when I want it for me and me kids" kind of atmosphere wherever you go and whatever you do.
