Looks like the mud slinging has started in the school elections. Had dinner with a good friend and his wife tonight. She teaches. Apparently the union has endorsed the mother of the union President and he is using the school e-mail system to promote her. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
He also points out all of the board "relatives" on the payroll in the e-mail. Now I've always said that most of us would hire family if elected but this guy slams others while he wants his mother to get on the board?
According to her he claims that at least ten percent of all district employees are relatives to current board members. According to her comments at least three of the potential board members have relatives currently working for the district.
So before the union starts throwing that at existing board members I would ask them why they endorsed people who also have relatives working. I mean what's good for the goose.......
Mr. Jones: Father is a teacher Mrs. Knogl: Son is a teacher and President of the union. Mr. McKechan: Son is an administrator. Mrs Daly: Husband is a coach.
Mrs. Cuvar, you're looking alot better to many people I spoke with today. LOL! If I was the union President I would take a different route in knocking the other candidates.
