Thank you, Op, and I humbly thank Helen Hawkins for her endorsement and her friendship. She's been a wonderful public servant for many years, and has been a great mentor to me. She really needs to write a book....
I can only hope to make a difference in our community the way she has.
I also hope the voters of Pontoon Beach recognize my efforts and the vast changes our Village has gone through in the last four years since I was elected, and allow me to continue as the lone politically independent Trustee on the Pontoon Beach Village Board.
Single party rule has not served our area well in the past. Please, fellow residents and voters, don't take us back there.
