    We visit many museums yearly and see all the donations that are huge sums that go to St Louis Science Center, St Louis Zoo, St Louis Botantical Gardens, and the like.

    Didn't the School District just set up a foundation that groups can now make donations? I think that it was mentioned that the Class of 1961 just donated a sum of money to the School District. We need to get the word out if so.....maybe some people would donate....if nothing else the donations could help to feed the hungry children of the school district. It saddens me to think that children in our city can not afford a decent lunch and school supplies...basic needs. How many children are there in the district that can not afford the basics?

    Its horrible to hear the words our school district is broke.....broke usually comes right before "broken"
