Speak, I can honestly say that I don't think we've ever had a problem. I don't think anybody wants you not to post. My only advice is that if the political threads bother you simply don't read them. Politics is a blood sport and will always eventualy turn nasty. I can safely say that I have never clicked on a thread about sports... because I simply don't care about them. Post the kind of threads you want to see and ignore the ones that you don't like. If I post something that offends you just don't read it. I'm not here to win a popularity contest and if you don't read or respond to my posts you won't hurt my feelings (I quit worrying about what others thought of me several decades ago.) So in short post, have fun and ignore the stuff that bothers you.
