    I mean the use of memory is a powerful thing.

    It can be used to make us stronger and more aware.

    Or memory can remain poisonous and incite hatred.

    Or like resident spammers, memory can even be used for political gain.

    But remembering 9/11 --- can bring out the best in all of us...and it can be a direct link to the spirit of neighbor helping neighbor...


    It can be a moment to put down our gadgets and look at how fragile life is and to take inventory of who we are and what our priorities are.

    When we forget tell people we love them or don't have quality time to spend...sometimes we may never get the chance.
